It is reported that 8 out of 10 adults will suffer back pain at some point in their lives. One third of all adult Americans have had back pain in the last 30 days. What will you do when you suffer from back, neck, leg or arm pain? What kind of treatment will you seek? Our goal at Texas Spinal Associates is to treat the cause of these problems, not just the symptoms.
So what are the causes of back, neck, leg and arm pain? 1.) Degenerative arthritis, 2.) Disc Bulge/Herniation, 3.) Spinal Stenosis, 4.) Pinched nerves, 5.) Trauma, 6.) Soft tissue injuries are just a few of the many causes.
A typical medical treatment protocol for back and neck pain might include pain pills, muscle relaxors, and anti-inflammatory medications combined with rest and a little physical therapy. This treatment is effective in some cases. If this doesn't work, heavier drugs are prescribed and finally surgery. Don't believe me? Back pain is the NUMBER ONE reason for visits to neurologists and orthopedists and the NUMBER TWO reason for hospitalizations. A report in The New England Journal of Medicine states that "51% of all back surgery is unnecessary."
Patients spend $1.1 billion per year in emergency room visits for back pain! They spend $3.9 billion per year in prescription drugs and $4.1 billion per year in office visits.
We are different. We will identify the source of the pain and help you correct the problem. We utilize Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression to treat disc herniation, disc bulges, spinal stenosis, sciatica and facet arthrosis. And not all Spinal Decompression tables are the same. Texas Spinal Associates uses some of the best technology available!
Pain may also arise from muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia. Treatment of these tissues is a major component, allowing you to live pain free. Living pain free is not as simple as taking a pill. It is a life style and requires a combination of receiving the proper treatments, diet, and exercise.
Texas Spinal Associates is a Quality of Life Clinic. We are the only SpinalAid Certified Clinic in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Come experience the difference!
